K9 Playground Rules

I acknowledge and understand that the use of K9 Playground involves inherent risks to myself, my guests, my dog(s), and my guests’ dog(s). These risks include, but are not limited to:

• Uneven ground, natural terrain, mud, ice, snow, and wet or slippery surfaces
• Weather-related conditions
• Natural hazards such as plants, fungi, berries, insects, wildlife, and debris
• Dog-to-dog interactions and human-dog interactions
• Fencing, gates, obstacles, and other park features
  

I understand that while reasonable steps are taken to maintain the property, K9 Playground is a natural outdoor environment and conditions may change at any time.

I acknowledge that measures are taken to schedule private use however, 100% privacy cannot be guaranteed.

K9 Playground is not responsible for the actions of third parties or members of the public who may enter or approach the property during my booking.

By booking and entering K9 Playground, I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any and all risks, injuries, losses, or damages to myself, my guests, my dog(s), or my guests’ dog(s), however caused.

I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless K9 Playground, its directors, volunteers, representatives, and landowners from any and all claims, demands, actions, or liabilities arising from my use of the facility, including negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by Ontario law.

I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver, that I have shared it with all guests attending with me, and that I understand I am waiving certain legal rights, including the right to sue.

• All dogs remain the sole responsibility of their handler at all times.
• Dogs must be supervised continuously while on the property.
• Owners are responsible for managing their dog’s behaviour and preventing aggression, escape attempts, or unsafe interactions.
  

By booking, I certify that:

• All dogs attending are currently vaccinated for Rabies, as required by Ontario law.
• All dogs are licensed and/or registered in accordance with local municipal regulations.
• Additional vaccinations (e.g., DHPP, Bordetella) are strongly recommended.
• Proof of vaccination may be requested at any time
  

• All bookings and payments are handled through Acuity Scheduling.
• A booking is not confirmed until payment is received.
• One booking grants private access for the scheduled time and date only.
  

• Appointments may be cancelled up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled visit.
• Eligible cancellations will receive a refund minus a 10% processing fee.
• Cancellations made less than 4 hours before the booking time are non-refundable.

If K9 Playground must cancel your booking, you will be offered a reschedule or a 100% refund.

• Appointments may be rescheduled up to 4 hours prior to the scheduled visit.
• Rescheduling is free of charge and subject to availability.
  

Arrival

• Visitors may enter the parking area no more than 5 minutes before their scheduled start time.
• If the park is still occupied, please remain in your vehicle and wait.
  

Departure

• Visitors must exit the parking area within 5 minutes after the end of their booking.
  
  

If the park appears occupied at your scheduled time:

1. Confirm your booking date and time via your confirmation email.
2. Do not release your dog.
3. Contact K9 Playground immediately using the contact information provided in your confirmation.
   

All visitors agree to:

1. Pick up and properly dispose of all dog waste.
2. Remove all personal items brought into the park.
3. Prevent dogs from digging holes or damaging the property.
4. Prevent dogs from damaging shared items or park features.
5. Keep dogs on leash until inside the fenced K9 Playground area.
6. Respect wildlife and nature.
7. Follow all posted signage and instructions.
   

The following are not permitted at K9 Playground:

• Alcohol, cannabis, tobacco, or illegal substances.
• Aggressive dogs that pose a safety risk.
• Leaving dogs unattended.
• Commercial training or events without prior written approval.
  

By completing a booking and checking the acceptance box, I confirm that:

• I have read and understood these Terms & Conditions and Liability Waiver.
• I agree to be bound by them.
• I accept responsibility for myself, my guests, and all dogs attending.
